How?. You can go to the "National Fibromyalgia Assiciation" website (www.fmaware.org)
and copy the info of the awareness day they are having and also print out info from the NFA website about fibromyalgia and then share your own story also and send it to the editor of your local paper. I sent a press release to 3 local papers and 1 local paper called me and told me they will be doing a story on fibromyalgia and will be coming out in May 08.
Give a try see if you can give fibromyalgia some awareness where you live.
Thanks & Like travel so far and then get a hotel and rest at night and get up next day refreshed some to travel more. The worse thing is trying to travel from start to finish all at once as you will be in so much pain with your fibromyalgia and very mean ready to snap at anyone and your travel will be unhappy so learn to work with your fibromyalgia to ease your pain and travel may not be like a huge rough mountian for you.

How Did You Deal With Fibromyalgia Depression?

When I found out I had fibromyalgia my life felt like a broken mirror and I didn't care to do anything but lay in bed all the time didn't care about anything just so depressed. A friend told me as long as you have breath their is hope of better things in life. I stop thinking of fibromyalgia as it don't rule my life. When I 1st had fibromyalgia I could not walk far felt so weak but I kept doing my workouts and today I look back and today i'm thankful for all things in life. I have learned to look at the good in my life my loving family, I can walk, I can still laugh & smile.I got out of thinking sad and thinking good thoughts I'm getting better thankful to God. Also my walking in cold weather I may try to do one 10 min. walk a day let my body tell me and not push my body to suffer for days and don't worry about it as long as I do my workout everyday is what it's all about to me. In warm weather I do my same weight workout but go for 2 10-15 min. walks a day as I have learned to adjust from trial and error. Always talk to your doctor for their advice but hope this helps you adjust your excercise workout in all kinds of weather then not doing your excercise at all.

I Don;t See Much Change In My Health With My Exercise?

It took almost 5 years of me doing my exercise workout to finally see my exercise is helping me so please hang in their and keep to your workout everyday of the year and you will see and feel some increase even if it takes time but don't give up.

Can I Skip My Exercise On A Bad Fibromyalgia Day?

You may feel a lot of stiffness and a lot of pain and want to do nothing but you should do your exercise anyway because what you do everyday will help you in the long run. If your family don't know or they are new to dealing with fibromyalgia tell them it's a bad day you will need to take your time or wait on them.
